Writer's Block: Life With ADHD

This topic has actually been on my mind a lot lately. I was diagnosed in first grade, and started medication in second grade. The whole "being a guy would be so much easier" thing has crossed my mind before. In general, though... I'd much rather stick with being female. Being a guy would be easier - they just shave their face, while I have a running list of body parts I shave; they don't have a monthly cycle; etc... but I just enjoy being female. Does anyone really think about the rain? I mean, REALLY think? It happens regularly and so we don't really find it too remarkable, but it actually is. Tiny droplets of water, just falling from the sky. I mean, look up at the sky, and you can't see where this never-ending supply of water is. People are so silly, in a "OMG-THEY-DRIVE-ME-INSANE-SOMETIMES" kind of way. They can never make up their minds about stuff, or they just say and do dumb things for no apparent reason.

I'm just waiting on one grade!!! I don't mean to be so obsessive about my grades, but as of now my GPA is the highest it's been since I've started college, and as long as the last grade I'm waiting on isn't too low, I'll have finally reached my goal that I've been struggling towards for the last three semesters ( Read more... ) -

Wow, a whole summer and semester went by without me posting to this. I guess things just got so busy I never really thought about it until recently. I don't really see why reading these things can be so interesting, but sometimes it feels good to just type and put what's on your mind out in the open, knowing that at least someone will read it.
