in 2013 I- moved across the country

- connected with old acquaintances/friends, and met new ones

Thanksgiving was with Andy and Randy. We hosted, and Andy did most of the cooking. I doubt I'll ever really understand American Thanksgiving traditions. Especially 'casseroles.' Whenever I feel a bit meh, I play with my cartoon fox. The digital one, that is. There are lots of stuffed cartoon foxes around which John and I harass each other with.

Excellent trip to Turkey, and was happy to see Jale and Taha again. My grandmother is still alert at ninety-two, and the sights of the city are still impressive. I tell myself I will write about it, but who knows if it is true. After getting back I had a cold, and then this week I caught another.
