+i am currently in a small city near the kansas border. it reminds me of my sad little home town, which is slightly smaller. this place, ponca city, has the relics of oil refineries, but they are idled. the land is gently rolling but mostly flat here. i have seen lots of bats living under ( Read more... ) -

i have been dreading the trip to OK so much so that i did not bat an eye when i did not get my reservation info for the trip. but lori called me today and apologized about the communication screw up and now i am heading out first thing in the morning. anyway, i should be pleased i guess, to have the opportunity to pocket so much extra cash. Scott Holt
Scott Holt committed suicide this weekend. Although I had not seen Scott for quite a while, there is no denying that he was an unforgettable person. It is very sad to me. man, do i feel exhausted. i keep complaining that i am not sleeping well at night, but i come home every day and nap on the couch from 5:30 to 6:30 and then can't go back to bed until 1 or 2 a.m. whose fault is that? damn. -
ugh.
i was just walking through the living room in the dark, on my way back from a glass of water, when i stepped on something cylindrical, cool, and sticky on the rug.
i turned on the light, hopping on one foot.
i had stepped on a cat turd.
why?
