"our problem"

I think that our problem lies in the belief that "wrong" or "bad" actually exists at all. I believe we all base our opinions off of our perceptions of the world around us, but our current perceptions all stem from the position of 'us vs. them'. as soon as we begin that opinion we need to believe "we" are right and "they" are wrong; they being 'the ( Read more... )

I disagree with you almost completely.

I would, however, agree with the summation "there's usually more shades than black and white in any situation".

I think having some moral direction is a good thing. If there's no good nor evil nor even bad nor good, then it all feels like a grey mush.

I don't think there's many absolutes, though.

all I know is- somebody here is right and someone is terribly wrong. :)
But really, yeah. The only problem is that steping out of our place of richiousness (sp?) would lead to the collapase of culture as we know it. And We ALL know we don't want that.
