Canada wasn't too excited about going to see Russia, but he wouldn't avoid the situation either. He was far too polite to do that. He hoped that the meeting with Russia wouldn't be too long, though. Citrine would see what kind of person he was and decide to leave him alone. Canada had no doubts that Russia could take over this place, and he didn't think a city under Russia's rule would be a very nice place to live.

Though he couldn't send them to Siberia while they were stuck here. That was the one good thing about this.

But Canada didn't want to seem too discouraged. Citrine seemed really interested in meeting Russia, and he didn't want to hurt her enthusiasm. After all, she was one of the nicer bosses that he'd had, and he actually found himself liking her on a friendly level. Even if it was something crazy like this, he would follow her. "Hey there," he said as he opened the door, "Ready to go?"

"I am," she replied with a little more enthusiasm than she had planned on, the opportunity to get out of the headquarters really becoming more and more attractive to her.

"Do you know where exactly to find him?" There were many things she wanted to ask but those could wait until she had a better grasp on the situation, and the person they were going to meet. And speaking of...

She paused briefly to check her gun, making sure that it was loaded and ready to be used, just in case. With Canada's urgent message to her about this nation's arrival, she just couldn't be sure how dangerous the situation might get.

They started walking out of the building as soon as she was done checking her equipment, and her question was answered as soon as she saw a flag in the distance, near the clocktower. As if he were awaiting them...

Russia sat proudly on the fountain by the Clock Tower, watching the striped flag, though it didn't move a whole lot here, due to the fact that there appeared to be very little wind (much to his disappointment). He was good at putting off the friendly appearance, however, that just made everyone else that much easier to manipulate. How could one not enjoy when they would finally be suffering?

He didn't really think that anyone should feel intimidated by him. He was a nation, they were common at home (or far more common at home than here), and he almost wondered if there was someone who had domain over this place. (Purgatory, perhaps? He knew it wasn't so, to him that meant it was free land and that was why he placed the flag there.)

He didn't really look much like a soldier, though.

As they walked closer, Canada caught sight of Russia sitting on the fountain. He faltered in his step for a moment, and then he tugged gently on Citrine's sleeve and leaned over to say, "He's over there, on the fountain," quietly to her. And even though he was trying to put up a strong front, it was still clear that he was at least a little nervous. He decided to just follow Citrine's lead at first, since he was sure Citrine knew what she wanted to talk to Russia about.

At least Russia seemed to be in a good mood right now. That could always change quickly, but it was better then starting out with him in a rage and saying "kol kol kol" over and over.

She glanced at Canada for a moment to judge his reaction; tense, and nervous. It made her own mood shift slightly and she became wary, reminding herself that every stranger was a potential threat and should be treated as such.

"May I ask what this flag symbolizes, and why it's here?" she asked as soon as she approached the fountain, figuring that it would be best to simply get to the point right away. Introductions could wait until she had a better understanding of this person's intentions, and it gave her the time to study the newcomer while waiting for an answer; he didn't look very dangerous, but then she knew better than anyone that looks could be deceiving.
