A friend who has small children just messaged me about her husband buying a whole series of books for their children to start gaming with some day. well nothing like coming in to work early so i can go home early. though today is also the shops holiday lunch. so we have to be back in the shop for that. but we still get to leave earlier then everyone else. now if we were only getting paid extra for this

i like my job, even when we work late 2 or 3 nights in a row. the over time money is great. my co worker joked that since we were getting some over time finally christmas is back on for him and his family. i thought that was funny.
