Went to TB's for a BBQ & party for the 4th last night. Got there around 4:30 pm. It was a great time, had a lot of fun. Thirteen of us went on a decent hike, which included a 60 ft climb with ropes up about a 70° incline! Definitely tested the mettle and got the appetite up! S called me awhile ago, told me that D droppped off her son at about 4 am, he'd stayed up all night because he was afraid of oversleeping...LOL! Didn't really get why it had to be at 4 o'clock, since I dropped her off before 2 am, I think. Oh well.

Admittedly, I had a very difficult time getting through lunch yesterday with my phone off & at home. Maybe that was just stupid. I suppose I could accomplish the same thing by simply bringing my phone with me and leaving it on but not answering it--but I think the temptation would be too great. Salsa class last night was fun. It was funny, there was this really cute girl who was all flirty with me at the start before everyone got there. Then the instructor showed up, and she was flirting with him big time--all her attention was on him. It was pretty funny to see. Try as I might, it seems impossible to gain a solid acceptance of L & D as a couple when she doesn't act like she & I are "just friends". We're more than that, but I'm never really sure how much more.
