You write great dialogue, sometimes I literally *hear* the words coming out of the characters' mouths, and in this case I really could. Sweet and heartwarming, and another story that I would've loved pages more of, too.

A sweet story - and a nice touch that both Lindsay and Brian seemed to have been guided by the wisdom of Dusty.

Brian bought Gus a drum kit? - even I would kill him for that, although I imagine Mel will get to him first! ♥

Nice voices, lovely rhythm, beautifully simple. I liked it a lot. One of the best of the bunch. Thanks for contributing it, and sorry for the huge delay in commenting.
