This story was so creative and coming from a fresh point of view. It was so sad to see the happy and excited Brian about his birthday ... and slowly, over time watch Brian's heart get broken or crushed or sucked dry by his family and his father especially.

If it hadn't been for Michael and Deb, I think Brian would be in worse shape - if that's possible. I was so glad to see Justin 'get it' and even happier to see Brian turn the corner by asking Justin along on the trip.
