This movie actually looks like it will be really interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed The DaVinci Code novel, but really was less than pleased with the movie. It was action-packed, but was altered too much to make the religious protesters happy. I liked Angels&Demons even more, so I'm really excited to see this. I know he died a long while ago, but it still makes me so sad when I think about it. Such an amazing human being and so incredibly talented. This almost made me cry. Apparently it was one of the videos played at his funeral.

I just bought this Kurt Halsey print with part of my tax return.  Signed and dated, limited edition of 100.  Can't wait to get it and hang it up!  It looks just like Dan and I (complete with his faux-hawk!) - it was way too perfect not to get.  The red ink at the bottom says "the moment just before. and it's been forever ever since."  ♥ ♥

So I got this really awesome job as a Refugee Housing Coordinator at a local community service organization.  15 hours a week, $12/hour.  With taxes and such that would have worked out to be around $650 a month.  Pretty freaking sweet for a part-time job while I'm taking classes ( Read more... )
