Buying a Car??
Dave and I have been talking about buying a car for a while now. We both have functional cars and some people think that as long as they are functional we shouldn't buy a new car. So I have been on vacation for almost a week. I turned in my keys to work last Tuesday. It is very strange for me to be on vacation for two months!! I am not used to being free. I love Virginia!
We went on the most amazing hike today! It was georgous. We got to the top of this mountain and we could see for miles and miles and miles. It was so beautiful and unreal. It was so quiet. Only about another week...
Friday is the last full Friday of the year! I am so excited! This has been a rough initiation to my school, but I love it there. I am so happy to be keeping the boys and girls I am keeping and passing along those that will be in higher grades that I will service. I am really excited about next year. I finally am at a point in my life where when the school year ends, I get a vacation. Usually it has always meant that I go back to a job (too many times Eckerd) and work full time or more hours. Life has been like a whirlwind lately. I have been really busy with my new position. One of my students has really been taking up a lot of my time. I am hoping that I can get things back on track, but with only 29 academic days left in the year...I can't expect miracles ( Read more... ) -
Saying Goodbye
I try really hard not to be jealous of other people. Especially people who are grieving. But sometimes it is so hard. My cousins just lost their grandfather on the other side.
