Well this was a fun introduction to, from what I hear, an arc that will put the reader's soul throught the wringer.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Chiaki and Takaya back in school though; I loved the fangirls.

This is really interesting. I might have missed something along the way, but I’ve never considered Ougi Takaya so drop-dead gorgeous. Or at least he didn’t seem so terribly popular with girls back in Matsumoto. Even Morino said he was a hunk only at a close look XD.
So, can we believe he has matured to it within those months of hell and yet more hell? Well, petronia said once that in mirage it is the mind that makes the body, so probably Kagetora’s overwhelming beauty had once again emanated itself. The changes of his interior built would go deeper still…

Ah, the combination of Chiaki and math would make me run for dear life…
BTW, what is it with japanese schools that they all seem to be either haunted places or haunts of bishounen ?!

I think it's not so much maturation as the emergence of Kagetora's personality. 'Gorgeous' would probably better describe his original body (of Uesugi Kagetora). Despite that, his character seems to be attractive in a way that his 'beauty' always manifests itself regardless of whose body he has taken.

As for the physical appearance of Ougi Takaya, not exactly drop-dead hotness but I think sensei intended him to be good-looking ;)
