I need a break
Going to class with the same 27 people is getting on my nerves, especially since half of those 27 are still reliving the Fraternity/Sorority glory days. They've been out of college almost a year and a half MINIMUM so clearly they need to get the hell over it. Dear American Banks,
Why do you not carry foreign currency? I am not talking the ruble or whatever currency it is they use in Mongolia- but more popular ones like yen, pounds, and euros? Why do you have to order it? I just read an article in the NYT that hotels are now scenting their lobbies as part of the branding process. I just stayed in an airport hotel that was trying to achieve a Hawaiian theme with coconut smell. My overall opinion of this theme is that it sucks! Seattle Pictures
I've uploaded a few pictures from my Seattle trip for people to look at. It's a great area with fantastic food and lots to see. It just sucks it takes as long to get to as it does to get to London on a non-stop flight from Tampa (almost). Security questions
Ugh- why are today's security questions getting more cryptic? I remember the good old days when it was your mom's maiden name, the hospital where you were born, your grandmother's middle name, etc. Now they are stuff that may change from day to day- favorite book, favorite song, dream vacation location- except for the wedding questions. Scary advice column
I just read this scary advice column talking about how it's totally normal to be afraid if your spouse has opposite-sex friends at work or through other contacts because they're all a "threat" to the marriage. All the comments seemed to think it was totally normal and that it was impossible to have friends of the opposite sex. I was really shocked ( Read more... ) -
baby birthday parties
I don't get it. I have one friend who had not one, but TWO parties for her 2-year-old. A friend who went to party #2 said it was just nightmarish with 10 2-year-olds running around and the poor husband who'd suffered through 2 of them was ready to shoot himself.
