What percentage of college educated people are non-readers?
I am just curious. I have one friend who persists in arguing that no one really reads anything and that it is an outmoded form of entertainment. Maybe it's because he's younger, but almost everyone I know is a reader. I must say that I have decreased my reading quantities in law school, but whenever I go on a plane, I get excited to have the chance ( Read more... ) -

I can't stream Pandora anymore because I am not in the US. Sigh. Nothing streams over here- so depressing. Maybe there is some Pandora-type deal in the UK? -
Finally- I'm average!
I got my whopping 2 grades in this term and managed not to bomb my trade class, so it's a good way to start off the new term. We have class today so I wouldn't have had too much time to recover if I got the typical B- and then had to march in to hear everyone else talk about how they got straight A's or something. Power Adapter Demise
My MacBook adapter met its untimely demise today. It's all brown and broken where it apparently burnt itself through- I didn't smell or hear anything though so I'm so thankful for that! When I took out the plug, it was incredibly hot. What would have happened if I left it plugged when I was a sleep? Could something have caught fire? Scary! -

No, I don't get excited about Halloween. I haven't dressed up since 1994 and don't plan to do it in the near future, yet people seem to be in disbelief that I am not going to a Halloween party tomorrow. MacBook Meltdown
I need to get my MacBook fixed. It flickers intermittently and it is really freaking annoying. I thought maybe it was some power issue at first, but it flickers with just the battery in. Right now it is fine, but I am sure at some point today it will flicker to no end. I've checked the discussion board and if it's a hardware problem it usually ( Read more... )
