i had a baby.

she's here now, and she's a tiny human.

it amazes me that this same little person was here with me for nine months before she breathed air, and was officially herei lay in bed soon after taking the pregnancy test and thought about her dna, how even though she was only a tiny piece of tissue, all her direction were already written

The way you have written about your pregnancy has made for really good reading. I always wish there was more. But they are also perfectly crafted little things -- remind me of koans a little. And, too, the way you describe DNA... it's very like how you write. Such a big look in so few words. Thanks for sharing -- and congratulations
