I finally forced myself to finish World War Z. It was a good book till the last 40 pages, which seemed to drag on and on. The movie will probably suck.

I love this weather. I can walk 2 miles (to the hospital and back) and not feel winded in the slightest. I don't sweat or have a hard time breathing at all, so when my walk is done, I feel energized. I have trouble finishing the walk when it gets much above 70, and the colder it gets, the easier it is. This is the weather I've missed the past 3 ( Read more... )

We got a guinea pig last week from Mandi's Petsmart for free because it was born in the store. It appeared to be female, so I named it Gaz and all was good. She was skiddish as all hell, so we decided to get her a playmate today, as the guinea pigs were on sale. I think my brain just spooged a little. I need to make this some day.

I need new computer speakers. After they've been on for a while, it becomes hard to hear the vocal part of a song, then the music starts to fade and sound tinny. I turn the speakers off for a few seconds and turn them back on, and it sounds fine again. They were $35 and are about 9 years old, so they don't owe me anything. I'm tempted to get a ( Read more... )
