today, on my way to work, i tripped over the curb and fell face first on the sidewalk.  i ripped my tights and a guy had to help me up.  i have been in lots of pain for the past five hours.

the rest of my day has been fine.

and i have not written much of substance in quite a while.  things are going on, but not really.  my brain is either churning too much or barely at all.  i'm sure a braindump is coming on one of these days but not quite yet.  but anyway, as i have gotten used to noting the mundane activities of my life, here's the snapshot ( Read more... )

i was listening to my ipod this morning when it suddenly turned blank.  then it wouldn't turn off.  it is currently unresponsive.  suggestions?  this is supposed to be the year of no big purchases and i'm scared.

1.  a long, long weekend at home with my mom for relaxation and comfort
2.  a stable job that i enjoy--always, but particularly in times like these

by the end of the movie, i was practically jumping up and down with excitement.  i need to read the books.  when is the sequel?  eee!
