Of course I'm coming! My mother won't even complain TOO much since you're a Harper... even if you are the naughty Harper. I fully expect obscene amounts of fun and nights of debaucherous revelry.

And Quintus shouldn't be too angry. He forgave me for France. Though he still doesn't know I met ERNIE in France.

The naughty Harper will be skinned alive by baby Harper if the not yet psuedo Harper revels too much in debauchery. Especially without him. But naughty Harper is pleased psuedo Harper is coming.

Does psuedo Harper know if Grylette Harper hates naughty Harper?

The psuedo Harper will try her hardest not to reveal anything to the naughty Harper. Though she may drink him under the table. Repeatedly.

She hates me. Why would Lucia hate you, Julius?

Because I said she deserved the French wanker she was seeing? You know she and I don't get along... So I was thinking of maybe rebuilding broken bridges, or the like.

Actually, she doesn't seem to get along with you either. So, maybe you wouldn't know.

Wow, I hope that wasn't directed at me. I think it would dissuade the more moderate girls and yes Julius, I am one of them but the really crazy will possibly be encouraged further and up the ante a little more.

Ah, but Melinda pointed out that the crazy ones, by being encouraged to increase their insanity, are more likely to do something to get themselves in trouble.

Pity. It's the moderate ones I don't have a problem with. It's the moderate ones for whom I wished this had happened when I was here as a student last year, and hence, the more pleasant moderate ones weren't off limits. Only joking. Or maybe not. Or maybe... No, I don't know what I'm on about any more.

I didn't know who you were last year. Pity. Alright Parvati, talk about something else. That's very good logic of Melinda's, isn't it?

I would recommend the date option. I have personally found it to work well, and if it does encourage the crazy ones, then that will get them in more trouble. The bitch in me would find that rather amusing.

While we're on the subject - you're a man. What would you recommend to get shot of an annoying ex-boyfriend?

Anything to satisfy your inner bitch. All that leaves is finding an actual date that can hold her own... There's nothing helpful in dating a frump.

Private to Melinda:

I'd recommend the same to you, actually - or prodding him in the direction of another girl could always work? Unless he's likely to do the whole, "Oh, but you're the only girl for me!" - In which case, you'll have to crush his heart. It's harsh, I know. Depends on how annoying he is.

My inner bitch thanks you, darling. No, if you were to date someone, how shall I put it...not quite feisty enough to cope with the attention, the fangirls would eat her alive. You'd be back to square one. Not at all helpful.

Private to Julius:

Oh, he's terribly annoying. Now, at least. Do you recall Harold Dingle from school? Not my wisest decision, I must say.

Perhaps the finding a new date is the best option.

I see what you're saying. I suppose she'd also have to be quite able to handle Dorny's death threats too; which requires much feistiness. Does such a girl exist, I wonder?

Private to Melinda:

Him? Merlin, he WAS bloody annoying. Where was your head at the time?

Yes. I think that's the best option too.
