Funny, I actually liked that Black Eyed Peas song, "Where is the Love" even though it got completely played into the ground. It was a pleasure to hear rap/r&b with a positive message. Then I hear their new song . . . and I am once again completely disgusted with the American culture that feeds into this kind of crap.

Silly little painted vase, taped together, chipped daisies wrapped in duct silver. A phantom of flowers tucked inside, this vase shudders, splits, splatters rancid water everywhere. Must try glue.

I am very unhappy about the little girl with the mess of red curls and big blue eyes who is hanging out with her brother in our front yard--complete with black eye. Adendum: I am very unhappy about this little girl's black eye, and it makes me feel like torturing someone slowly.

Here I complain about having the time to do nothing, but today I have time, and I'm doing nothing. I'll have to make banana bread to go with my casserole tonight, assuage my guilt. Amen.

Okay. I decided I'm going to turn down the new third job. I hate this feeling of guilt, I knew right away I should accept it to begin with. It's just too much. All of my time is taken by some kind of endeavor to either make money, improve myself and my lot, or caring for someone else. And truth be told, I just can't do any more right now ( Read more... )
