It's amazing to me how remarkably people can change.  Then, there's always that conundrum - did s/he change or simply shift so the disguise wasn't quite so air-tight?

So maybe I oughtn't have, but I sneaked a peak or two at the gubernatorial candidates' websites this morning.  Not that I intended to find any real helpful facts and figures on these biased sites, but viewed them more for the sociological experience that Alabama politics can be.

Yesterday, after leaving work a little early, I headed out to take some photographs around town. I went to a few sites, most just because they offered a vantage view of the Black Warrior River.  Most are sepia, just because I enjoy how shadow and light become so enhanced in a picture with limited color.

It is absolutely gorgeous out today - azure skies, a crisp breeze. If it has to be winter at all, I'd prefer it to look just like this. Always :). No more of those piercing, wet, frigid days like yesterday. Good grief, it was one of those days I'd just prefer to curl up in bed and read all day... going outside's just too much of an effort.
