I don't want to work a 9 to 5, i'd rather be my own person and have a job that makes me feel alive and creative.  I want to be a photographer, or design greeting cards.  Or write books.  Or all of the above.  I could make a living that way, right?  Hell yes i could.  I need to pick a focus and just GO for it.

 He's out of town again.  I almost cried when he left this morning, but managed to keep it down to just a pout.  Right now i'm doing alright, but this part of the day isn't so bad.  The house is unusually quiet though, it's a reminder.  I should go turn the tv on, just for some background noise.  Funny how you get used to having someone THERE.

 Took a shower, and then snuggled on the couch with the husband to watch a movie.  My hair dried in a funky flipped-out position and it looks ridiculous.   Oh well, I have nowhere to be until tomorrow.  :)  Going to have a cup of hot tea, and probably call it a night.  

 Looks like we ARE going to make it to the Zombie Walk in October!  The Halloween party is set for friday, and the planning process is already underway.  Chris and Bill are handling the design and creation of decor, while us girls will organize drinks and foodstuffs.  I'm going to do some investigating into creative and creepy snack ideas, while ( Read more... )

 Feeling EXCLUDED today.  I love how we can spend the entire day together in the house, yet barely talk or even make eye contact.  And he wonders why i'm upset most of the time.  I wish both the TV and his laptop would break, maybe then he'd actually spend some time with me.  If i'm such a crappy person to be around, why keep me?  

 It's all cloudy and grey (yes, i spell that with an 'e') out this morning, i'm kind of liking it.  The days have been cooling off, and it's been a bit chilled some evenings.  I'm kind of liking THAT too.  I enjoy cooler weather, it means that i can snuggle into a hoodie and slip on a pair of warm fuzzy socks ( Read more... )

 It's Monday.  I'm supposed to hear back about that job today (yes, even though it's a holiday).  It's almost 2, and no calls yet.  What if they don't call?  What if they didn't like me?  What if i DO get the job but i'm not happy there?  What if i can't handle working full time again?  What if.....?
