it's not his fault that his heart is enlarged and in the wrong place, he has grafted veins all over the place his sternum is wired together and his lungs are diseased and filled with fungus.

i think this is the most clueless i have ever felt in my life. i think i've done a pretty outstanding job of memorizing the structures i'm supposed to know for my anatomy class so far....and i'm pretty much ok with the embryology component, though i need to refresh myself on some of the steps of gametogenesis and stuff ( Read more... )

well, it's 11:38 on my first official day of medical school and after sitting through an entire week of orientation activities and lectures i wish it would just start already. i went to the cadaver lab last night for the first time where we all stood around and looked at our cadavers and then wrapped the head, hands and feet in moist paper towels ( Read more... )

all this crap about med school being hard seems to be bull. i'll let you know officially next week....but from what i've gathered, it's just an exercise in figuring out how to spread yourself as thin as possible and still manage to pull everything together well. isn't that what most people do with their lives anyway ( Read more... )
