Happy Birthday, Lynn-Lynn!

 Well ,the masses have spoken, and it would appear that the gender neutral toilets are more important on the day set aside to remember our dead than the event itself and the memories of the victims.  The Metro article says it all.  No mention of the event, yet here's gender neutral washrooms to conveniently redirect your focus!  Were the speeches ( Read more... )

This is not what Trans Day of Remembrance is supposed to be about.  DOR is about remembering those trans-folk that were prematurely taken from us with violence, not about politics.

Jer's Vision (not a trans organisation) and Gender Mosaic are using this for their own gains.

I am disgusted at these two groups of opportunists.

I actually would prefer to be at work doing stuff and being around people instead of coming home to this empty, deafeningly silent house.

Overheard in the office: "Every time I hear that phone, it's ringing!"

Today is Trans Day of Remembrance.

Please take a moment to think about those trans people who have died at the hands of violence.

I just e-mailed the rest of my immediate family that I would not be partaking of the holidays.  Thanks to a bank error, I had to pay off several hundred $$$ in interest charges.  This will leave me with just enough to scrape by for the next two months.  Any extra will go towards the kids' xmas.
