dude seriously thats the most easiest solution, but its probably the most dumbest.
school isnt created just to piss the fuck out of everyone, there is an actual motive behind it. And the motivation is....To educate the future generations so the country doesnt shrivel up and die. It was created, so every american could have some broad understandin of the world, and use that to help self improve this nation. People arent born leaders, they are shaped by their influence early in life. And to major in one subject for most of your life would defeat the purpose of being a versatile human being. That would force us to stick with one job, for the rest of our lives, completely shitin on any options or freedoms we have. Eventually making people drones of society who wake up everyday regretting that they dont live in a world which has a spectrum of career oppurtunites.

I have to agree with Unclesam. School, however annoying it is, has purpose. People in the third world countrieswould DIE to have the privilege to learn and go to school and get an education. Everyone needs an education or the whole world would be an endless mass of morons who don't know left from right. Math, as much as I hate it, is especially important. Everyday you use math believe it or not and what about cashiers at grocery stores, sure they have their little calculators and what not but where does that get us? And I don't know about you but I have a TON on my plate, singing, acting, two horses, friends, a dog and two cats to take care of as well as school and I still have a 3.8 GPA and manage to finish all assignments even if I am up till 3 am.

I understand your point, really I do but you haven't looked at both the pros and cons to school.

i agree that school is an important and needed step in developing the children of our country into better more knowledgable people, but i dont think that in this country in particular we are doing a decent job of educating. This country must be one of the only countries in the world in which little to no emfasis is put into learning about other cultures and their people. answer this, how much do you know about any other country? I have lived in two very different countries and have traveled a lot in my life and of all the places i've been to,this country which prides itself so much on helping other nations during their times of need, dosent know shit about any other country. look at our educations we are recieving here. How can we try to help any other country but our own, when as americans we are completely ignorant of the world beyond our nations borders.
