Weekend
I just got off of work. In a few hours, I'm meeting some other guys from work and we're heading up north to the Sauk river for a few days of fishing for steelhead. In those few hours, I have to pack, and buy a fishing license and gear (I haven't gone fishing since I was a kid. SAR training weekend again. We're all camping out, everyone's making dinner. It starts to hail. Suddenly I'm the only person still watching water boil, since everyone else teleported to their tarp shelters. I just put up the hood on my jacket and concetrate on stopping the hot tea I'm sipping from becoming iced tea on me ( Read more... ) -

New flashlight shipped Friday via USPS, arrived today.
New knife shipped Wednesday via UPS, package tracker says it'll get here next Wednesday, but its status hasn't had a change since Thursday when it left Maryland...
Both came from the east coast.
I hate UPS. Go Post Office! -

I'm not a big fan of ordering things online, even when it's cheaper, for one big reason:
Instant gratification.
I HATE HATE HATE waiting for shipped packages (And I don't really want to pay extra for next day, because then cost-wise I might as well buy in a brick and mortar store..)
Grr.
