For the past several weeks we'd noticed things we'd left on the counter going missing: used tea bags, the cut up strips of the last jalapeno pepper I'd laid out to dry, a bar of glycerin soap. I am so glad that I ended up with a job in a healthcare-related company which is hiring instead of laying off right now. Today I got my copy of the official letter from my company that certifies me as essential infrastructure personnel, and authorizes me to drive in to the office if necessary during a shelter in place event. As of yet, Arizona has been minimally impacted, but of course, with tests so thin upon the ground, there's no telling what the real situation is. Regardless, the governor ordered a statewide shutdown of schools until the end of March, at which point they will reassess. Dog follies
Long-time readers of this journal may remember that in years gone by we have had various contretemps with neighborhood dogs.
