I'm sitting in the most beautiful place in the world right now, in the most beautiful weather, and it's still hard to believe it's only a ten minute walk from where I now live, and it's my school.
I wish I could stay here forever. Thank goodness it's still only my first week here.

     NAU is absolutely fantastic. I love being here. If I wasn't here right now, or if I never got to have the incredible night I had last night, I'd either be dead or close to it.  it's really too late for me to be doing this, but I couldn't not do it. this is my last night sleeping in my bed for a while. my last night actually living at my house, with my parents. tomorrow night I will be in Flagstaff, sleeping in an unfamiliar bed, and living with a roommate. It's 2 AM and I can't stop crying.

I don't think this will ever get easier.

 Christopher's back home. He had a good but long flight back. After he left, I cried for a good 2 hours, drove around town trying to get my mind off everything, got myself some lunch, went back to my empty house, watched a few episodes of Gilmore Girls, fell asleep around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, slept until about 6, woke up, went to one last ( Read more... )

 Every time he's asleep next to me, holding my hand, I can't help thinking that maybe it's too good to be true. Or that this is as good as it gets. I'm terrified of Wednesday to arrive.
