I get asked sometimes why I don't trust people. In fact I've had friends give me the injured puppy face when they've asked if I trust them completely and I say no. I wonder sometimes if they understand that part of the reason I don't trust people is because they, for the most part, aren't reliable. It's been a great weekend. Marina and I went to the retreat at Bayview with the church. We played with children on the beach, sung camp songs at a campfire while roasting marshmallows, giggled like young girls, talked about serious stuff, worshipped God and listened to Mike Hogg give sermons that removed questions and fog from my head. We went to church this morning and things are better. It's amazing how something that disappoints you one minute you're thankful for the next.
