DeVotchKa!!
What can anyone say about Nick Urata's voice? It's an instrument all to itself. He emotes with all the passion he has in him, and he has a LOT. Combine that with the amazing gypsy/indie/whatever music of DeVotchKa PLUS the Seattle Symphony in the fantastically beautiful Benaroya Hall? My god, it was utterly amazing ( Read more... ) -
Devotchka!!
One of my Christmas gifts from Cathy (well... a gift to both of us) was tickets to see Devotchka at the Benaroya Hall tonight playing with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra . We absolutely LOVE Devotchka's music and Nick Urata's majestic voice. Hearing them with our wonderful symphony orchestra will be an amazing experience.

Cathy and I began a joint project while we were in California over Christmas. We're both crocheting the same poncho and calling it a 'Ponch-Along'.
