Okay guys, so I went apartment viewing and I think I have it narrowed down to two places that I possibly want to apply for. Now I have to  make my decision within the next couple days, and both places have pros and cons - so I'm not sure which one to choose. SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT AND DECIDE WHAT WOULD BE BEST.

Second. Absolutely the second. Co-sign may be a bit of a hassle, but between the deposit, having to borrow money, no financial aid AND having to pay for internet and wash, the bills are just going to add up and add up on BD, not to mention the stress of trying to pay with roomies. A little hassle for a co-sign is worth it, and it's not like you have to deal with your parents or whoever co-signs after; I'm assuming you're responsible enough about paying on time that they won't need to defer to your parents for rent money.

As for roommates... you can probably ask about whether you can be roomed with females only. You're also far more likely to be roomed with girls, anyway, as guys are more likely to get their own places outside of student housing. Or so I've been told, dunno the real statistics behind that. I was trying to get a co-ed room and couldn't, just because there were that many girls looking for a place, compared to guys.

Plus, fitness room, fully furnished and modern. Fuck yeah!

YOU HAVE A WAY WITH WORDS. And yeah I would make sure to be timely about my rent. The only real problem I have with cosigning is FINDING a person to cosign with because I don't know what qualifies as a good cosigner and my mom...honestly gets into a rage whenever I suggest a name or I bring up the idea of cosign. I GUESS SHE HAS...A BAD HISTORY WITH THAT OR SOMETHING.

YEAH, I'm hoping it's pretty liekly that I get women to room with because as much as I like guys...I'm not sure I'm ready to live with one on my very first apartment on my own.

I COULD SEE YOU CHILLING IN THE FITNESS ROOM. IT WAS A FAIRLY NICE ONE.

I also picked the second one because even if it's CORPORATE BEAST, when it comes to apartment living it seems the most secure (despite the neighborhood) and it's got a lot of amenities, which personally I relish. I mean you get a THEATER and a nice gym and everything, and if it's students only then that means it's a more controlled environment.

Financially it would be easier on you, too, and as a student it's a serious thing to consider. Bills/utility and shit like that may not seem like much now, but three months down the road you'll realize just how broke you are.

It just depends on what kind of living space you want.

If you come visit me and I'm there, I'll make sure to bring you to the theater...it was pretty impressive for an apartment theater. AND yeah I do like the idea that it's students only, since I don't think the other place has that.

And sob that is true. Bills are something that would be a worry, and as my dad pointed out that I should be focused more on school than paying for bills.

YEAH I'm a little torn still, though this stuff is helping out a lot!

AND NOW THE BIG QUESTION.

...Why would I visit if you're not there. I MEAN GRANTED...THE IDEA OF DRIVING THERE JUST TO TROLL CUTE STUDENTS IS TEMPTING, BUT...

IDK...WE GOT A LOT OF CUTE GIRL STUDENTS.

Plus...Nickelodeon park is in a city south of the campus. You can ride...Avatar rides. Or something idek.

Yep, I'm going for the second, too. Just for the security it gives and the less chance of SUDDEN UNEXPECTED BILLS OF DOOM. Because we don't want you trying to live off a tin of beans for a week bb <3

And Jenn says stuff better than me so...tru all dat.

YEAH, the sudden bills have me worried...but I'm also worried those will pop up with the second apartment too.

Jenn is so very good with words. We should figure out how she does that.

I vote for the second but was curious if it has AC or not.

And depending on roommates to pay bills = you will be stuck with the entire bill at least once. Also I hate paying for a washer/dryer.

Oh, sorry! The second one does have AC yeah.

Sob yeah, especially when I don't know...any of the roommates I will be with. AND SIGH YES, I remember the last time I had to pay for laundry and it makes me hug my washer/dryer

For me that's a deal-breaker...then again, I did just walk home from work in 95-degree weather and the only reason I'm alive is my AC, so.

I call lies on you being 23 on Friday. You're 16. I remember distinctly.

Do you HAVE any furniture to speak of? Cause that's the deciding vote for me. If you have a decent amount, might as well take advantage and go for 1 - if you need to buy stuff, then go for 2.

ROFL SWMBO ♥ You have me caught. I have been lying about my age for 9 years now and I really am 16. CURSE YOU SWMBO, CURSE YOU.

AND...I have some furniture? Which translates to a mattress/boxspring, a nightstand and possibly a dresser My bookshelves and desk would probably be too big for the apartment or to move. :(

WOW THAT WAS MAJOR TYPO FAIL THERE.
