Why the Twilight series is UNREADABLE.

Fans of the twilight series are really going to hate me for this.

If you read anything fiction, or have ever asked someone "what's a good book I could read," I know you’ve been told just how awesome the Twilight series is, and how great a love story it is, and how much you just have to read it. And I’m sure you’ve heard this a THOUSAND TIMES ( Read more... )

unreadable garbage

Yay.

I also like how Bella has a severe ugly duckling problem, but her name is Bella Swan.

SO CLEVER.

I'm telling you, this is the perfect book for fat girls who want to be loved by some twink!

I'm giggling just imagining these fat girls pining for their vampire emo kid with wtf diamond skin (srsly, what the HELL kind of description is that...who the fuck thinks that's a fancy otherwordly twist?) while listening to muse (because author's a whore for them) and linkin park (because ALL fat girls that would read this trash listen to linkin park).

Haha ewr.

I read 'em mostly because I had friends who did but I've flat out told them I just think the stories is okay, not as good or anything as everyone says they are. In fact, I'm kinda sorry I paid for the books and didn't torrent them.

That said, for some reason I bought the ebook version of The Host (another book by her) since it was inexpensive and I surprisingly like it a lot. So far. I'm sorta worried she's gonna screw up the end, which I hadn't read yet.

I use bookchan. It's got everything, superfunhappyfree hidden in image files.

Yes. I want to use this so badly.. but there is this little fact that I'm too stupid to figure out how to look up stuff. D:

There's usually an index thread somewhere. I think they reorganized it now so it's easier to find. In fact, I think that intro page is the index, and everything is now under the Books header.

Dude, who're you hanging out with? Everyone I know who says they like it are being sarcastic. I'm a shitty writer, and I know that series is utter crap.

It's like... a mary sue story except the author is defiling her own series, then projects her own woes of mid-life crises on said perfect girl.

Not really people I hang out with...more like EVERYFUCKINGONE in general. People I work with. People responding to when someone recommends a book. It's like a disease of ewr.

But yeah. That's EXACTLY how I feel about it. She's a fucking marysue and she hardly tries to hide it at all.

In fact, if you were to go back a bit to the last time I demanded recommendations, I'm pretty sure one of the first responses was Twilight.
