Exam 1
Well, in case y'all forgot, I'm teaching Intro Bio this Fall and I just ran the scantrons thru the machine earlier thus evening and was dissapointed with the scores overall. A couple did quite well, but the others...not so much.
This leaves me feeling rather frustrated. They all seem mostly engaged when it comes to lab, but lecture for two hours ( Read more... ) -
Goal #1 attained!
I'm so excited! I have attained my first weight loss goal as of Monday! WOO HOO!
I have now lost 42lbs...and counting. I need to buy new pants and a lot of my shirts are a bit big on me as well (I've gone down at least a shirt size...may be approaching 2 sizes).

Intro Bio
In 70 minutes I'll be teaching again! It's been 5 yrs since I taught so I'm a little anxious about getting the first class out of the way.
No weekend getaways for me.
At least I'm getting credit for the 5 semesters I did teach with the college previously. The pay is better now as well! Woot!
