i can't believe you ate foie gras. you're going to hell for that. not for anything else in your life. you were fine up to now, but you just fucking blew it mister.

also, you're entry is beautifully descriptive. the foie gras mention distracted me, though. so you should think about that next time you eat.

I'm glad you liked it, even if I did eat foie gras.

But.."Delicacy of Despair"...oh come on. I wasn't sure if your objection to foie gras was on the basis of classism or furry wurry wittle animals, but I guess it's the animal argument. I looked up to see if there's a PETA-ish campaign against foie gras. Apparently so.

look. just because PETA has a campaign against it, doesn't mean it's not bad. i mean, if they banned foie gras production in california, then there's something to it. read this and then tell me what you think

i figured a way around this debacle. alcoholic steatohepatis. you simply get the ducks plastered for a few months straight... and whalla! fatty liver. now who could be against that? who? really... i'll tell you. no one.

oh. and ron. why haven't you been online????

I agree. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable, humane answer. BTW the way, have you ever looked at the etymology of the word "humane"?
It's "human" not "animal". The American Animane Society doesn't sound quiet so sympathetic. Come on, almost everyone is against abuse and cannibalization of humans.
