Yeah, I never got into Labyrinth as much. I think it was because the puppet sidekick characters acted like children. When I was young, I didn't want to watch other characters my own age, just of my own temperament. So Jennifer Connelly's character was great, I liked her... but I was a bigger fan of movies that didn't kiddify the story or setting. So The Hobbit, The Last Unicorn (which is very adult when you get down to it), Dark Crystal, the BBC Narnia movies, Neverending Story... (argh, do you remember the black wolf/werewolf character that used to scare me so bad?)

Aww, the Hobbit on vinyl. I played it in the living room while I built things out of blocks. *flail* I miss it!
