"a man" -it's not any man, it's himself. thus private and ungenderly to oneself.

"and he likes it"- phrasing is very wrong. he doesn't put his hand on his penis and squee with joy! he is already horny, prolly slightly erect. a man masterbates to finish the job, to help the erection fully grow so that the sperm may be released and he doesn't developed blue balls. the whole jammed up sperm thing can actually cause a guy discomfort. thus masterbation is not a sign of being gay, but moreover a sign of being healthy, and practicing erections for us ladies.

Okay, a note on the last comment: that's not cool. It may be true, but that doesn't make it a good thing. The fact that male homosexuality is less socially acceptable than lesbianism only increases the power of the patriarchal society, and that is something people should fight.

Furthermore, who says girls want to share such details?

Furthermore, girls are turned on by homoerotica just as much as guys are by lesbians; the difference is, the vast majority of guys are in it for the "theoretical" stuff, whereas many girls additionally sympathize with the actual principles surrounding the matter.
