being a seasoned vet of festivals, warped tours, all day shows, and all in between, here is usually what i bring:
sunscreen
tons of chapstick
extra hair things
cash
phone
ID
a water bottle, if you can!
a comfy pillow
COMFY sneakers!
a bunch of dry socks
antibacterial in your pocket at all times

also, that band list is INTENSE. who would i see?
girl talk, animal collective, jeaneane garafalo, ted leo, mgmt, yeah yeah yeahs, mars volta, tv on the radio!

On Friday, catch Grace Potter & the Nocturnals at This Tent at 3:15, then stick around for Grizzly Bear at 5. And while I know that there's good stuff happening all over early Saturday afternoon, Rodrigo y Gabriela (What Stage, 3:30) would blow your mind live.

I'm mad at Bonnaroo on your behalf about Saturday night. Wilco, the Mars Volta, Elvis Frakking Costello and the Decemberists overlapping. That is not OK.

And Phoenix! I've been really enjoying Phoenix lately.

I think I'm going to have to go Elvis. Wilco are playing in Lowell this summer, so I can see them then if I really want to.
