WHAT? Break up with Youngwoon? But we just started dating. I can’t do that to him. I love him and he loves me.
Ryeowook took a hold of my wrist and was gently trying to take me away but I wouldn’t stand for it. “What do you mean break up with Youngwoon? I can’t do that to him. I love him.”
“That’s precisely why. When they find out you have a boyfriend, they’re going to use him to get to you. They’ll do anything to get you. They’re ruthless. Which reminds me…Ryeowook, make sure there is adequate protection on the Kim home while Leeteuk resides there. We don’t want any innocent bystanders getting hurt and we wouldn’t want to risk losing Leeteuk or having him hurt in any way.”
“Don’t worry, sir. There are already angels watching over the house.”
“Good.” Siwon smiled. “Now that things have been cleared up, it’s time for Teukie to go home.”
“I’m not going to break up with Youngwoon.” Siwon sighed.
“Fine. Whatever you say. It’s not a good idea but since you love him and he makes you happy, I guess I can let it go.”
“Yay! Thanks Siwonnie. I’ll see you at school tomorrow. Make sure to get enough sleep.” Ryeowook took my hand and pulled me out of the room.

“Bye Teukie.” I smiled. Once he left, I picked up the book on the table next to me and flipped it open. “You’re still the same.” Inside were photos of me and Leeteuk together as children. Even as children, I was supposed to take care of him but he always ended up taking care of me. That was just his nature. He was always bright and caring. “Glad he hasn’t changed. He’s still angel Teukie…my friend…”

As soon as we left the room, I turned to Ryeowook.
“How come you never told me any of this? For 3 years…we’ve known each other for 3 years and not once did you mention a thing to me. How could you? I thought we were friends.”
“We are friends, Jungsu, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized who you were. Please don’t be mad at me. I never meant to deceive you.” He pouted.
“Aww you’re just so adorable.” I hugged him. “I can’t stay mad at you. You’re just so adorable.” I hugged him even more.
“Uhh…Jungsu…Leeteuk…could you…get off me…please?” I just kept hugging him until a pair of strong arms gently pulled me away. “Thank you Siwon.”
“You’re welcome. *chuckle* You really haven’t changed a bit. Come on, you need to get home.” Siwon took my hand and led me out with Ryeowook following behind.

“How could you let him escape, you incompetent imbecile? We had him. We were this close but no…he escapes with some help from some stranger. And why was he able to escape? Because SOMEONE wasn’t doing their duty and dozed off.” I was prepared to punish him when a hand on my arm stopped me.
“Save it for later. We have a job to do.” I nodded. I glared at him.
“I’ll deal with you later.” I turned and left him cowering on the floor in fear.

“Siwon, what are we going to tell Youngwoon about my disappearance? He’s got to be frantic. He probably worried himself to death. Oh…we need to hurry home so I can comfort him. I hope he didn’t tell the family I’m missing yet. I don’t want them to worry either. Come on, let’s hurry.” I ran on ahead of them. Siwon kept pace but Ryeowook had a harder time. I slowed down when I noticed Ryeowook having trouble keeping up with us. I forgot he wasn’t that athletic. “So what are we going to tell him?”
“Don’t worry, we’ll come up with something.”
“What?”
“I’m not sure yet. We need a good enough story to convince him.” We kept walking in silence, each absorbed in their own thoughts, Siwon and Ryeowook thinking up a story while I worried about Youngwoon. As we walked, we didn’t realize we had come to my house when I heard someone yell “JUNGSU!” and grab me into a giant bear hug. I couldn’t breathe, he was holding me too hard like he never wanted to let go.
“A little help please? He’s gonna crush me.” Siwon came over to get Youngwoon’s arms off of me while Ryeowook gently took me out of his embrace.
“Where have you been? I’ve been so worried. What happened?” Youngwoon pulled Jungsu into another embrace. He finally noticed Ryeowook and Siwon there. “What are they doing here, especially him?” Youngwoon glared at Siwon.
“Well--”
“We were wandering around the park when we noticed someone bothering Jungsu.”
“Yeah, and they were kind enough to help so as a thank you I took them somewhere to eat. We lost track of time talking. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to make you worry.” I gave him my puppy dog eyes and pout. His expression of anger and worry melted away. “Aww…it’s okay. Come on, let’s go in. Oh and here’s your earring. It fell off earlier.”
“Oh…thanks. I didn’t realize that. Well bye Siwon. Bye Ryeowook. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Bye Jungsu. We’ll come tomorrow morning and walk you to school.”
“Okay. Bye. Sleep well.” I waved to them as they walked off. I missed Youngwoon’s expression when Siwon said that. Both of us go inside and before I can do anything other than taking my shoes off, Youngwoon drags me into our shared room.
“You have some explaining to do, Jungsu.”
