My least favorite co-worker lost her dad to cancer yesterday. I never did liked her nor did we ever really get along. Nonetheless, I feel bad for her loss. A world without my Dad, or his sense of humor, is unimaginable. I wish I was close enough to her to hug her and offer her my undivided support. So an embarrassing thing happened at the gym today: jogging on the treadmill, about 70% done with my workout, I look up and noticed a young man standing by the windows of the upstairs studio, looking down unto the gym, and, for an instance, I think it's Terry, an ex. Blue
I wish I could switch this stinky blue mood off. I've not been myself for several weeks now. It sucks really. I'm running my best, things at work aren't bad; I love being in charge; my boss has acknowledged my hard work; and, although, I have minor aches and pains, I'm in relatively good health. Christmas 2008
Away from friends and family, and mourning the lost of a dear pet, I still had a wonderful Christmas. To the annoyance and amazement of friends, I had been counting down to Christmas since, at least, the summer. However, December turned out to be, by far, the shittiest month of the year. She Finally Died...
Pixel the Cat was an old cat with a nasty kitty cough. I came to know her through her owner, my housemate. The running joke was that we would come home and mistake a dead cat for a sleeping one. Growing up, all I can remember is mother telling us that it was our duty to take care of her in her old age, "Que dios te de mas para que me des mas."
