City,

How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.

I hate thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, and considering the mortal circumstances, it's got a fucking long arm.

I hate thee freely, as thou would take two brothers and fuck up one's head but not the other, so as to put them at odds ( Read more... )

...Nothing. Nothing was.

Hey, you're back to normal! Great.

George, what do you mean, back to normal?

You...were cursed.

You know how yesterday's curse was sort of if people had made different decisions and taken different paths in like?

...At least your hair looked nice.

Didn't know you were a poet, George.

I was a poet and I didn't even know it?

Afternoon, Tony. How are you?

It'd say poetess, but then some women's studies student might pop out of the bushes and kick me in the crotch.

I'm okay. A little twitchy. Apparently, if you fuck around with pain-killers during a curse it doesn't just go away when the curse is over. I think my liver hates me.

Poetess sounds kinda girly, yeah. Stick with poet. Crotch-kicks aren't healthy.

Really? Jesus christ. Should I add another line to the poem about that? I doubt it'll help your stomach, though..

I'll leave the door unlocked. Don't mind the smell.

[ooc: Full steam ahead, captain! And Arion's conspicuously absent from the entry because she didn't want to embarrass him by drawing further attention to his curse]

The original version is much prettier.

I'm going to help you clean up, Georgia. Just remember that this is not my mess, I do it out of the goodness of my heart.

I wasn't going for first prize in a writing contest. Just trying to accurately depict my teenage angsty feelings of "pissed-off hatred"

I'd appreciate it, Daisy, thank you. And yeah. It's not my mess either. It's everybody's and it's nobody's.

Perhaps you should explore this further, sweetie, it's good to have an outlet for your rage.

You're welcome! I've already picked out the new couch.

But I much prefer kicking things. Not writing poetry.

...It's not pink or anything, is it?

Quite the extensive revision, Georgia.

[OOC: Apologies to George! Distant!Niko tends to use full names for everyone except Cal.]

I think it adds the appropriate spin on things. Thanks, Niko.

How's Cal doing? For that matter, how're you?

[ooc: She gets it from Daisy, her mom, Robin, and others. :D Nothing to fear]

You're always welcome. Relevance is an important aspect of poetry.

All in all, I think things have gone somewhat better than the last time Darkling paid a visit.

[OOC: :-D]

And it's important to be relevant especially after you're dead, otherwise the whole fucking world just passes you by.

Somewhat is good.
