I saw the Fiery Furnaces tonight. They played an hour and a half set that included most of the music from their new album as well as some awesome old favorites (shout out to Two Fat Feet and Evergreen!).

Using the same idea as my self portrait for electronic art, I made this of my sister, Ericka. For those of you who don't know, in 1991 my parents had another daughter who was born with Lou Garricks Disease and lived for 11 months. I think seeing Sigur Ros in concert would be an amazing experience, but i don't really know if I want to spend $30 on one ticket right now... would it be just as worth it to just get their new CD and listen to it with my eyes closed a few times?

The first week of college has been going well, but too dramatic for my taste. I'm glad I'm not still in high school... I love the freedom that I have. I wish it weren't raining so much so I could be out on my bicycle... I took a spill last Thursday on a wet road and I've been a little leery of rainy riding since. my last update from this house! (for a while)

Perry and I are leaving now- we'll sleep somewhere outside of St. Paul and move in to the dorms early tomorrow morning.

My room is the cleanest it's been in ages! Come over and see it- it's highly worth the trip.
