This is what Christmas is like in the USA.  also, though it may seem hard to believe, I can't take credit for that belch at the end.  It was my father.  What a coincidence in dance-moves!

So.  During a visit to Global Foods with Lenka, Esteban, his mom, and my mom, I found jars of this red pepper and eggplant spread that seemed a lot like something I had with Adri in Germany, and we got some to find out if it was delicious or not.  It IS delicious.  so so delicious ( Read more... )

I came back from Franksgiving today.  We were going to canoe down some "canoe trail" in southern illinois, but it turned out that they have duck season starting on thanksgiving, so the swamp is not a place you want to be, even/especially if you're a duck ( Read more... )
