Oh man, that totally beats Alex and Luke setting off the fire alarm sophomore year. I'm glad to hear you're both fine. You're right -- it's not exactly a funny story in the moment, but it's kind of hilarious to hear about.

so apparently everyone had allergic reactions to what you were cooking? or was it that it just became toxic with something or something?

I think the ingredients of the curry were just really potent, and when they started to burn there was a chemical reaction or something. I imagine it was kind of like tear gas.

I should add that we later researched this, and it turns out that if you burn curry, the chili powder/oil/what-have-you in the curry turns into this grade-A irritant.
