I haven't been posting recently because, well, there just isn't much that's new since getting out of the hospital. I still can't walk very far. I seem to have hit a plateau in my recovery. The past week I've been a bit more silent that I usually am (which is akin to saying the screaming kid in the back of the plane took five minutes out of the three hour flight to go to the bathroom and was subsequently quiet).

( It's lengthy but I'm a tall guy so it seems appropriate. )

Yesterday I finally gave in and got a temporary disabled permit. While it will reduce some physical stress in the short term because I won't have to walk so far when I park some place it is also an admission of severe infirmity ( Read more... )

I'm a little concerned about becoming dependent to a relatively mild pain prescription. It's Vicodin but the dose assigned to me is for someone about 1/2 my size. I do actually have a need for it in the relatively short term because of a side effect from the white blood cell booster called Neupogen ( Read more... )
