cheese?
I think my 3rd child has trouble with eating a lot of cheese, maybe even any cheese. His s is just bad news. S is pretty bad news anyway, but after he eats his lb or two he really feels bad. The Vent
There is nothing in there. Air, some dust, but mostly it is silent. The mice that used to crawl in there are gone. They moved to a better neighborhood where the mice are more intellectual and have opinons about things. Once there was a necklace in the vent. She has a pretty tattoo of a skeleton key and three bees. What does it mean? She's from Oklamhoma. I'm really lucky because she's very nice and not afraid of kids and knows about helping out. fevers and money
My middle one has a fever. Poor guy it seems like he gets fevers and feeling bad times more than the other ones though it was M that I took to the doctor. I do hope he doesn't throw up in bed though. Hot
My daughter is hot but she won't take her blankets off and I'm beyond too tired to go get her something cooler to sleep in. Downstairs may as well be Texas. I was just really bitchy to her about being hot. I'm hot too, that's part of it. It's been a long day with these guys, F ( Read more... ) -
When kids take it nuclear
My Aunt referred to degrees of meltdown with her daughter's kids. The highest form was nuclear. My sister's daughter just had one of those. I think she'll sleep better for it, but I'm still sort of jangled. I've gotten so much better about hearing kids freak out than I was with E (I've abandoned the numbers). Movies save lives
Man am I glad I went to the movies today! I'm so grateful to my sister for watching the kids so me and 6 could go to a movie and we were so lucky because I was sure it was a bad time to go, but right there, right then, there was Next. Being with the kids all the time is a beautiful thing and I know that I am lucky. I know. I know . You get where I'm going here. Dang, it's such an amazingly mindnumbing experience and this is a beautiful thing too. It's like a fucking crash course in "being the moment" spirituality.
