I'm back from Dragon*Con!

Omg I miss it already.

I had an amazing time and just so you know, I asked EJO THAT question :)

Thanks for posting this report! Sounds like all great news. And I didn't know they were doing a movie about New Caprica!!

I am seriously considering going next year. Tell me, how big is this thing? Is it like, Comic Con huge? Cause that was a little too crowded for me. And how sci-fi-oriented is it? Star Trek? Firefly?

I didn't either. I had heard rumours about straight to DVD prequel movies but I didn't realise they would be on New Caprica, but that's what he appeared to be saying and the woman next to me kindly explained that was what he meant. I hope I haven't got this wrong, I'm pretty sure New Caprica is the setting otherwise I wouldn't understand why he would be talking about getting people back together for filming. Unless they're covering back stories from before the attacks. But he said that it was set 'during Cylon occupation' and the only way they would include all the characters AND Cylon occupation would be on New Caprica. Right? Because if it were Caprica he was talking about, it wouldn't include the usual cast, just the Cylons.

Atlanta, Georgia. It's a really friendly city and if you do come down, you can usually get cheap flights from statravel.com :) Or just bug me nearer the time if you do want to go and I will TOTALLY help you find a cheap flight :)

I'm going to look at their website right now and see how much the tickets were this year so I can get a rough estimate of how much they'll be next year. Damnit! I'd alreayd promised myself I wouldn't travel next year :P

Thank you :) ::hugs:: It was scary I can tell you. Everyone else seemed to be asking long detailed intellectual questions when what I MOST wanted to know was, will Adama and Roslin FINALLY end up as a proper couple this season?

I had to work very hard not to use the words 'will Adama and Roslin finally get it on' in that question :D

LOL! Well I love you to pieces because I swear, until I came to this con and saw other people who were equally obsessed and EJO right there infront of me (I was in the first row! I got there two hours early and I was in the front row DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF EJO! OMG! ::flails::) I was suffering some serious withdrawl. I am SO glad that we have the movie(s?) after the show finishes. It's one step closer to a big screen movie and it's a bit extra that we TOTALLY deserve for having to wait this long for the rest of the episodes.

I forgot my point :) Oh yeah! I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm a total A/R junkie as well and I think that if they put back the release of the next episodes to April, I want some kind of promo pictures or mini episodes or something to keep me going. We've already had one hiatus of doom, this is the second, they don't need to make it any worse for us.

Wow, I'm suffering withdrawl again :) I swear, as soon as things settle down in RL for me, I'm back to my fic writing. Lots and lots of A/R fic writing.

I love the close relationship among the cast members, and I love Eddie's squeeing (wellll... maybe not the actual word I should use ^^") for Mary. They are honestly so adorable together, and even so apart. I think I might break into someone's home just to see that vid. (^_^)

Someone posted the vid, I can't remember who but someone posted on one of the groups with the video of him laughing like Mary :) I'll post mine probably later, just because I have a bit extra before and after where he's talking about directing Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down and that is one of my all time favourite episodes. :D
