Well, our show at Backstage Lounge (or Eddie C's, whatever you prefer to call it nowadays) this past Saturday went over quite smoothly. Something needs to be said about this whole situation of diversifying America. An article run in today's Alligator addressed the need for more minority professors and staff at UF. Specifically, it called for the severe need for more Black, Hispanic, and Asian-American professors and faculty. In other words, non-white faculty. Even the editorial ( Read more... )

I overheard someone's conversation/rant about all the little "rich, spoiled" students here, and how their "parents get them everything they want," and show off their fancy cars, and continuously whine about this and that and blah blah blah.
