Both facets of Anne of Green Gables are fabulous. The books are HYSTERICAL, not to mention good reading. Oh, and she has red hair which is a plus.

Finally...someone who understands...we should watch the movie sometime....and yea about the whole red head thing....we went ot PEI when I was 11 and I was pretty sure I WAS Anne the whole time we were there. What can I say? I thinks it's in the genes or something.

Did you walk through the "Haunted Woods" near the LMM house? I remember doing that as a kid and hoping someone would fall down a well. No one did. They were all boarded up. *sigh*

Yeah, definitely went to PEI a couple of years ago. That fired me up for the books and the movies, and sent me off to reading and watching them immediately. I will have to keep myself in check if we watch the movies because I may end up quoting them to no end!

We should definitely have an 'Anne' party when I return...and it's ok if frog quotes them to no end cuz I know them all by heart anyways.
And yea I did walk through the "haunted woods" while wishing they were more haunted because lets face it...they were sort of disappointing. *sigh*
