I've got the urge
to have nothing in between the great wilderness and myself but a tent and a cozy sleeping bag....a boy next to me would be nice as well. A girl would probably work too, but a particular boy is somewhat more fun. He's also useful for carrying the heavy stuff and playing with fire. Sorry girls.

I miss the thrill of the open road with nothing except for my bike and me.
Too bad my helmet is inside of Jason's car....and he is on a bike ride of his own across town. =/ While I've ridden without a helmet before, I much prefer there be a large plastic and styrofoam piece between the organ that defines who I am and asphalt in the event of a ( Read more... ) -

I haven't been able to sleep for two nights now because I've been so worried about my paper and every time I sat down to write I would hit a mental wall and not get anything done. I'm a damn good tour guide. My parents asked me to plan a trip for them to Washington, DC a few months ago. I happened to plan it in the month before my thesis is due so considering all the madness I think I did a damn good job of planning out three days worth of stuff last night at midnight and then getting up at 5 am for my flight. Jason's dog died. They heard the news that she was to be euthanized in the morning right as he was driving through Tampa heading towards Gainesville. They'd had that dog for fifteen years and so he turned around and headed back to St Pete. She died at the vet's office sitting in Jason's mom's arms. The bladder went ( Read more... ) -
