A Magic: The Gathering deck is sixty cards. The land/creatures/non-creature spells split is 20/20/20--though you might want to go as high as twenty-four land. It's something to do with ensuring you have mana at the ready: mana screw has caused the loss of many a game.

I've lost count of how many days, how many nights have been spent with someone. A friend, a partner... whoever--at the very least someone who was somewhat interested in two things: that I hurt and making that hurt go away if they could.

Okay. I have NaNoWriMo, a bunch of personal crap to deal with, an aunt visiting and I've nearly reached my internet download limit.

I'm still gonna do LJ Idol. Because two friends want me to. Plus it'll be nice to have content on my LJ for once.

I'm leaving in a week.

It's so close. I'm kind of panicking in that last minute "what if I forget something" manner. I am pretty much all packed. I got a card from the people at the course today; they're gonna miss me. Of course my dad wrote "Get Lost!" and another person wrote "Keep it up"... so maybe they won't miss me. :-P
