The second season of Quantum Leap will be out on DVD on October 26-- and at the same price as season one, although it's a helluva lot more episodes, including some of my faves, such as "What Price Gloria", "Catch a Falling Star" and "Another Mother." Perhaps I can get the husbandoid to buy it for me for an anniversary present....

OK, so take the Quantum Leap season 1 set, right? Put it on top of your television, with the bottom pointing out toward you. Sit about 10-15 feet away from it, with the tv on, and look at the box from other than straight on.

Gidget: The Compleat Series is coming out on DVD this summer. Squeal!!!!!! It's always been one of my fave 60's sitcoms.

I can only hope that The Patty Duke Show won't be far behind....

Must get to Minneapolis on July 24 to audition for the Partridge Family remake. Seriously! (Unfortunately, I'm just about the right age to be Shirley... Wd. much rather be Keith or Laurie!)

...she likes to go on harrypotter.com and go to games and play the seeker tryout. *sigh* she's getting pretty good at it.

There are three tryouts and she can only get through the first two. The last one is tricky.

(I predict it will only be another 18 months or so before she demands her own lj....)

My daughter finished the 3rd Harry Potter book this afternoon. She's 7 1/2. She goes to a Waldorf school, so it's not like reading is being emphasised in her 1st grade class. *preens ( Read more... )
